How a rank is produced

Recommendation methodology

The same answers and the same published rules always produce the same ranking. CardWorth is not a credit score and not a bank offer.

1

Eligibility first

Cards drop out when your income is below the published minimum for your employment type, when the card or bank is inactive, or when you ask only for Shariah-compliant cards and the card is conventional. A bank can still decline an application.

2

A rupee estimate

Yearly spend in a category is multiplied by the published rate. Cashback uses a percentage. Points and miles use the stored value per point. Caps apply, then the annual fee is subtracted unless your spend meets a waiver. Perks we cannot price stay out of the total.

3

Then your preferences

Reward style, fee comfort, and the benefits you picked add or remove score. Editors change the weights in admin. Each result stores the version that produced it, so an old session can still be explained.

Current emphasis

Launch model, version 1. Changing these weights affects future recommendations only.

What this is not

It is not a credit bureau check, not a guarantee of approval, and not an offer from the bank. Sponsored placements are not part of this version. If they are added later, they must not change the organic score.
